Alex has been an advocate of Accessibility for about last 155 million years or so. Standing at 4.5 inches tall when fully assembled. Allosaurus actually means 'Different Lizard'. While he (or she, not quite sure how to check) might be 'different', Alex is still very much at the top of the food chain. 100% of the money we make from Alex stays right here at Not-a-Wheelchair helping us purchase new tools to bring down the cost of accessibility around the globe. (Small pliers will be helpful during assembly – the parts are design to fit together very tight)
‘Not-a-Wheelchair’ a fully electric, super quiet, accessible bike that can go 12mph with a range of about 10-20 miles.
Choose your frame color, wheels, and range.
Rear rack mounting points to hold wheelchairs, coolers, camping gear, or a picnic basket! (Rack sold separately.)
Constructed using bike parts for easy maintenance.
Great for all terrains where a bike or vehicle would normally be able to travel.
We currently only ship to the USA and Canada. International shipping would double the price of the bike. And make it not cost effective. Bike manufacturers should exist in every country though. Reach out to a local bike manufacturer and see what they can come up with for you.
If you receive your Bike and it appears to have been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately before returning so a claim can be made with our shipping carrier. Our shipping company will send a representative to your house to assess the cost of damage(s).
You will need to keep all of the original packaging to insure that our shipping company can properly assess any damages.
Depending on the load, the Rig can definitely go fast - 12 MPH fast that is.
Range of 10-20 miles with one battery, and 25-35 miles with two batteries (depending on terrain, weight of the rider, and weight of the cargo).
The Rig is constructed with an aluminum frame, detachable bumper, and four inch off road bike tires.
We designed this 'off road wheelchair' to be as easy to maintain and repair as possible. It's made mostly with bicycle parts!
We had our users in mind when we designed the Rig for maximum comfortability and accessibility. With a simple latch, you can release the handle bars so you can move from the Rig to your wheelchair with ease and vice versa.
